I remember someone even inquiring on these forums,"If there is just 1 Xmas cracker abandoned in most of Runescape, what do you think it'll be worth" I think that the answer is, it is going to be worth whatever worth to the person that owns it because there'll not be any other ones.
Post some of your thoughts on discontinued items. P.S.. While training in lessers, a Runescaper was telling me about the prices of runes 6 decades ago (she has not played for some time ). I said"That's quite a while ago". She then responded that she had been around RS for more than 6 years, she had been about for Runescape Classic: ). I asked,"Did you receive any holiday things (e.g. Xmas cracker)?" She stated she'd 500 party hats and 30 santa hats in her first Runescape account. I asked,"What did you do with them?" . She replied that she has those things in her original account, but she forgot the password to this account.
Ahead of the dungeoneering update and the rewards that came along with it, imo the maple shortbow has been the most frequently encountered bow utilized. Individuals cited reasons such as a rapid attack rate and reasonable harm as reasons as to why they picked it on walnut. Users of maple longbows were really few and far between, I myself just chanced upon a walnut longbow user when I was at Clan Wars FFA. (As a matter of fact, he utilized the more range of the longbow to shoot me while my shortbow couldn't reach him).
Users of different varients of bows such as the crossbow were even fewer, with the composite bows being a luxury item that few 60+ were able to manage. Crossbows were used occasionally in clan wars by individuals wielding it along with a defense, but I seldom saw composite bows being wielded. So, this was how it stood prior to the upgrade (in my view ). Most damage per hit: Maple lengthy, exact fashion, assuming similar arrows were used. Most cost efficient: Either walnut long or walnut short. Most harm over time: Maple short.
Best overall bow in my view: Willow comp (Mainly because I purchased one and enjoyed the mix of additional attack at the cost of speed, but not as slow as a longbow, using a nice bonus array ) However, with the latest dungeoneering upgrade, it feels like Just Concerning the Gaming EXperience (aka Jagex) decided the walnut longbow was under-utilized. Together with the longbow sight now employed, it provides a hefty bonus of +110 array attack bonus on top of the regular bonuses that a maple longbow has. I'd like to see what the reactions of the Sal's community are all roughly like. Would this upgrade make longbows much more popular because of their high damage, and maybe even the most popular bow being calmed? Will it create comp. Bow users even less due to more folks switching to sighted longbows?
