So i decided to go back to Runescape this morning to realize that things have changed quite a bit, Mages have as much armor and HP. In addition, they have Meleers have skills, abilities, an action bar and many other things, which left me with a few issues that i require assistance with:

What are the most suitable boots for Melee? ( After doing a lot of research, I realized that highest stats are on Mage's batwing boots. Are there any better boots?, and is there any penalty for wearing them for melee?)

Why should I wear rune gloves even though Blue Dragon vambs and Batwing gloves have the same statistics but are significantly cheaper? Why should I even put on rune armor at all? ( With the exception of Vs Ranged) Does it have to be me or has the change made Melee the PVP's new underdog? Does anyone who is a player of Melee pk quite well? ( and what is the most effective set to achieve that) Are that the Amulet of Str no longer needed? ( I don't know the whole crit thing) We appreciate your making the effort to read my questions.

So I am preparing another list of Adventures to add to my next log. I'm not sure at this moment on what I really want to accomplish. I kind of want to avoid "getting that 99!" because I'm not that way haha. I prefer more tangible goals/etc over getting a 99.

One adventure I know that I am not sure about is divination. It's not my favorite, but I'm going to have to train it at least some...I am tempted to hold out on it until they come up with better learning experience ways to do it haha. (I'm thinking that 48-70 is an appropriate goal for the time being.)
