My concern is are they going to tackle the cpu controlled teammates at MyTeam!?!'s basketball IQ I never knew why they have Defensive help IQ when on every fastbreak your competitor gets your teammates will run past the driving ball handler on his way into the rim to try and mark their guy who's not even up court yet! It's my biggest pet peeve in NBA 2K21. Or you scaled up your man absolutely only to watch your cpu controlled teammate run and filthy him on the shot after you're already smothering him, or when the shot clock is running down and the ball handler gets his back to the rim!

This year's game has never seen such ignorance! When it is not your centre position a foot within the half court line in offensive sets, then instantly getting a halfcourt breach when you move because no matter what you do his very first move would be to step backwards and plant his foot. Or your teammates who endure either 4 ft behind the 3 point line or straight on it so catch and shoot 3s are constantly screwed up by having to reposition them following the catch. Or teammates that bring their defender clog your path and directly for you while driving or simply get. Or teammates don't do exactly what they are supposed on displays regardless of what your preferences are around. Or teammates which take off from their spot the second you attempt to pass to them.

2k20 has become the worst for playing defense, at screwing you! Just how many shots turn into aids for the team? How many times will you poke a ball loose from a ball handler to see it roll to an opponent to get a wide open shot? How many times has the opposing teams SG grabbed multiple rebounds Your badges don't mean squat offline. GOAT Hakeem with all 99s and every HoF badge gets out rebounded with a 6' protector after you block 3 of his shots only to observe him green that 4th effort. You should not get punished for playing defense nor should triumph and you have to try despite your teammates giving NBA 2K21 away!
