My issue is that I'd have the opportunity to start over. It is also frustrating for a player whose character was active in the OSRS times.

I was also afraid but as soon as I started playing a little, I became addicted again. I quit the day RS3 was released. I've never logged back into the game since. I have a Max Combat account, which I share with some 99s. It's a pain to log in to RS3 again in 07 however it's also a great way to train.

While it can be painful to start over, I found that when I started playing, I could not stop. Mobile has been fantastic. It's very easy to play anywhere. It's great to be able to play while taking a lunch break.

I'd like to hear from you about your experiences using the beta and what your thoughts are regarding whether or not you will use it. Also, how successful you believe it will be. Do you think Jagex is ready for mobile gaming, which is as vulnerable to cheating as regular games? I can only assume they're trying to ensure that no one cheats, but I can't see all of their preventative measures working.

Personally, I am looking forward to the ability to play on the move. I think I could manage playing the game on my own but sitting in a recliner and playing it just isn't my thing. Even more so given the number of different games to play.
